This site is dedicated to the memory of Mary Gerrard.
Mary Gerrard was born on May 28, 1943 in Wigan the only daughter of James and Catherine Collins. She had 3 older brothers, Harry, George and James. Mary went on to marry Tony Gerrard at Ashfiled House Hotel in Standish Wigan in 1965. 13 years later she gave birth to a daughter Maria, followed 3 years later by a son Mark. She fought Ovarian cancer in 1998 and won the battle to enjoy 14 more years in which she welcomed 6 grandchildren into the family, Joshua, Gabrielle, Mischa, Aiden, Bailey and Ellis. Unfortunately, despite a brave 7 month fight she died on November 3rd 2012 from lung cancer. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She was our 'rock'.
